Wow. Went to get some dust masks at Hamilton Marine for sanding the interior woodwork and SOLD OUT, BACKORDERED, etc. They found 2 boxes of carbon impregnated masks for me at $100/box/20. Kinda work with organic and volatile compounds I guess as well. So I checked Harbor Freight. Gone. So I check Home Depot. Gone. Nothing but non-N95 drywall style Chinese masks available, and very few of those. No respirators on the shelves. Glad I have 4 or 5 kicking around. I guess I didn't realize everyone had gone that far off the rails. Maybe I'll just mark this stuff up and put it on ebay and pay for the new refrigeration.

Just tell that to the families of the 28,554 Americans & 1,010 Canadians who have died. Social distancing works!!

My post was March 1, while our brilliant administration was still in "hoax" denial. I had already battened down, stocked up and planned out. The comment was tongue in cheek a month and a half ago, and didn't intend to offend anyone, so no, I won't be "telling that to the families . . ." The second coronavirus death in the U.S. apparently, and unbeknownst to me, occurred on the date of my post. So I have two words for you, and they aren't "happy birthday."
