I bent the bow roller along the contour of the bow. The anchor chain got stuck in some rocks, the slack was out and a wave hit and the roller bent.

I've attached some pics of the damage along with some measurements. It looks like the roller is about 3.25 wide and about a foot long to the middle of the roller. Because of the placement of the chocks I don't think I can fit the roller body further back and probably need something similar to the current install. I have a Rocna 44 pound anchor.

A few questions.
Do you think it's possible to bend the roller back?

Should I just take it to a machine shop and have them weld in a new bottom plate?Maybe a bit thicker this time.

Does anyone know what part number was used for the roller?

I suspect a machine shop could bend that back. I would look at replacing that roller as it looks like it might have been torqued as well. I would also inspect the deck below that area to see if there was any damage. Take a bit of force to bend that bow roller mount.

When you say replace the roller you mean the pin where the plastic roller rides? I looked under the deck and didn't see any damage in the anchor locker. The screw that is closest to the bow looks like itmay have come out/stripped the hole, but I won't know until I have a chance to remove it. If so, I will just drill and go to a larger hole.

If i need to replace it does anyone know what model or manufacturer makes this particular bow roller?

I suggest you check with Rocna as to which bow roller best suits that anchor. As with most things boat, the Lewmar bow rollers all reference "spade" or "danforth" or "plow," etc. My bow roller extends well back onto the deck, much longer than that one. but it only has 2 lousy bolts in it. Someone removed the chock to stbd and placed the chock up on the toe rail.

I like your roller. I would straighten, reenforce and reinstall. Maybe add a weld bead to the stemhead. The T37 is very hard to find a good fit with limited room. The Kingston BR-22 EP anchor roller is one of the closest to fitting in the space.

Go this straightened out in La Cruz. I took it to a machine shop and they straightened the old one. Two of the holes were stripped in the plate so the person from the machine shop came down and drilled and retapped the holes for me. Total cost only 90 bucks for everything. I think it is one of the cheapest boat projects I've ever had.
