Mainsail and Jib

Does anyone know where you can find some used sails that would be a good fit for the Tartan? I'm trying to find a potential replacement for our main sail and also either a Jib or Genoa.

Not sure where you are located, but Bacon's in Annapolis often has a good selection of used sails.

I should have a good Quatum dacron mainsail, but won't be able to verify till early May. The T37 has a very short boom and a very long J, makes finding good used sails a little tougher.

Before I had the new ones made in the fall, I checked with Bacon and also found quite a few other ones online where you can check their inventory by measurements. I don't have the list of sites anymore, but sure they can be found with a quick search.

What I determined was that you can eventually probably find a head sail that will work if you are patient and save yourself 1000 bucks or more. But, mainsails are more complex, and it would just be luck if you ever found one just right.

We bought both headsail and main from Bacon,both were in great shape and the main even had the tartan logo on it.
