Hello. I am looking to purchase a 1978 Tartan 37 and went to look at it yesterday. There is a lot of stuff on the boat so I wasn't able to get into every nook and cranny but one thing I couldn't find was the ac panel. There is a shore line plug and ac outlets but no panel that I could see. Found the DC one at the nav station. Can someone give me an idea of where it would be located. Thanks

The AC panel is on the aft side of the cabinet outboard to port of the nav station in the quarterberth. When you are sitting at the nav station it's just over to your left. That's where it is on mine and others I've been on.

Thanks for the information. I'll take another look. The quarter berth was full of sails so that how I missed it.

It would be easy to overlook if it's like mine. Simply a couple toggle switches on a wall plate, one for AC and one for the hot water heater.

Yep, the AC panel on our boat is mostly always obscured. The quarterberth on SV Holiday is referred to as "the garage".
