Finally cracked and admitted to myself that the dark spot on the floor was coming from a crack in the water tank. Pulled everything apart and found the smoking gun. A crack right in the inboard center by the floor, dripping away. Does anyone know where I buy a new one? Company? Part #? Thanks in advance.

Is that starboard or port side? It's hard to tell from the photo. Was it a non-destructive deconstruction? Or did you have to cut anything that you're going to have to rebuild to put it back together?

I'm trying to figure out how to get access to the fridge. It looks like I'm going to have to destroy the counter top or some of the other veneer.

It's the starboard side. The only destruction I had to do was pry a couple of small interior frame pieces away because the screw heads were inaccessible because of the tank. Basically pried about 6 screws away but didn't break the boards. When I reinstall, I'll drill new holes from the outside and use wooden bungs on anything that shows. Only other thing was I sawed off the outlet fitting elbow so I could unscrew it. The alternative would have been removing the next piece forward on the inboard face of the settee so there would have been room to move the tank enough to unscrew the elbow. When I reinstall, I may use a straight fitting if needed. The other issue I ran into was stripping old screw heads on hard to reach areas. I was able to get out just enough though to finagle things around for removal. If stripped heads weren't an issue, would have made things easier. I have an extractor for my drill, but the places this would happen, were impossible to get to with it as well. There is a post somewhere on here I've seen about accessing the fridge.

Tartan sold them years back. I'm not sure if they still do. About 12 years ago my stbd tank developed a crack on the top. I removed the tank and brought it to a plastic welder. It's been leak free since then.

Ronco only has a 30 gallon in anything near the right dimensions. Has anyone gotten the large 60 gallon tank from anywhere? Tartan doesn't appear to sell the tanks anymore. I don't want to do a plastic weld because the top of my tank is concave and only holds 50 gallons give or take.

For everyone's reference I finally tracked it down, and our tank is Kracor part # 5069. Seems they are the only one that you can get it from. Kracor no longer sells retail to the general public so you have to go through Tartan. Working on that now and will let everyone know how that goes as well as the price. The guy at Tartan that we now talk to is named Chris. He's not nearly as easy to get in touch with as Art was. I've yet to get him to the phone, but he did finally respond to an email.

To be clear, JPANeavitt just recently replaced the big tank on his boat (within the past few years) so unless Ronco just stopped making the tank, it might be worth a second look.

I'd love more info on that if he has a part number or something. I've been in contact with Ronco, spoke with them multiple times, emailed them pictures and measurements, etc. They say the only thing they have that will fit is 30 gallon and sent me 2 part #s for those, B112 and B418. If Ronco has something more, sure would be nice to be able to offer them a part # or an order # so they can check on it.

This is the email from Rich Gray at Ronco:
Hi Zach,
We only have a couple tanks that are similar to yours, our B112 and B418. I have attached pictures so you can see what they look like. Your tank has more gallonage though.
