Hello, My centerboard is in a bit rough shape. There's a gouge on the high forward side, most likely caused by not setting the line back a bit and rubbing against the forward CB housing edge. There's a few chips & dings and a little bit of delamination. Is this even worth repairing or should I bit the bullet and shell out $3k plus shipping for a new board from Tartan? My rigger thought I should be ok this season and may want to remove the CB, try to "patch" it over the winter and see what happens.
I welcome all comments and recommendations. Thanks in advance. Regards, Nick. S/V Angela Mia Hull #336. Lake Superior Lake of the Free, Home of the Frozen.
