Does anyone know if Tartan supplied seat "back" cushions when the hoats came out of the factory? My boat has only the "bottoms"; the previous owner said that he didn't think that there were ever seatbacks. Would anyone venture a guesstimate as to cushion replacement costs (using good materials)?
Thanks

Another question about seatback cushions. The port and (even more so) starboard settee cushions (bottoms) aren't very deep. I'd hate to make the backs so thick that they make the settee bottoms feel like you don't have enough butt perched on them. Some of the boats listed on Yachtworld seem to have really thick backs, judging from the photos. Would a back cushion tapered from 2" on the bottom to 1" on the top be too thin? Thanks for any response on this specific question and any feedback on saloon cushions in general. #253

Tapper cushions is a big help on the L of the port settee, that uses the straight bulkhead in front of the nav station. Mine are 3" to 1.5" there and thin straight elsewhere. If too fat, it cuts down on the room to sit or lay.
