Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement for the centerboard pennant fairlead?

Thanks.

What are you calling the fairlead? Are you refering to the round black bullseye fairlead on the cabin top?

Several years ago, mine started to leak and needed to be rebedded. I went about drilling an oversized hole, filled it with epoxy thinking that I would drill the new hole and re-install the fitting. Well, time went by and the fitting has never been re-installed.......seems that it's not really needed. I left it with the white Marine-Tex epoxy filling the holes and The centerboard pennant runs smoothly to the block without rubbing on the coaming in front of the companionway. No leaks.

Yes, that was where I was going. I don't know the need for that fairlead. In my opinion, fairleads only add friction. Friction only wastes your energy. If a fairlead is truely needed (when the lead is not fair) then you need a turning block.

For example, I replaced all the fairleads on the roller furling line with small block. Much easier now.
