Hull #135 has an Alpha 3000 linear drive below deck pilot.

I'm a subscriber to KISS also, keep it simple.

Alpha customer service was not very helpful, we needed a small end cap where the manual T-handle engage/disengage cable terminates in the cockpit and pretty much the same answer you got... "gotta buy the entire cable assembly to get the one missing end-cap." That's not going to happen, we'll fabricate our own before spending a few hundred dollars on a piece that should cost no more than a couple dollars.
