Anyone know the size of the oil pan plug ? I'm thinking about installing a permanent oil drain hose. The hose I'm looking at is 1/2-20 size. Will this work ?

Mine turns out to be 1/2" x 18 thread. That is a weird size and I had to have a machine shop figure it out for me.

We have a plug on the W50? Manual says to suck it out the dip tube so I just assumed no plug.

It is at the very back corner. you can see it on page 210 - part 11 & 12 of the Westerbeke 50 Parts manual. It goes into part 10 and you can see the hole in the corner
