I am getting coolant dripping from the front end of the engine when running. My guess is that it may be the gasket for the fresh water pump. Has anyone done that sort of job? Advice would be appreciated.

It's probably not the gasket. It's probably the shaft seal. You can buy a new pump from Westerbeke (think is is over $400) or you can have it rebuilt. Check with a Jaguar dealer, or on the internet. The fresh water pump is very similar to a pump used on an MGB. In either case, ithe pump is easy to replace.

Jim,

Thanks. You were right, it is the pump.
