I'm looking into migrating to a "portal" or "Content management" system. I put this together for my sister's charity. http://safeharborrescue.org/index.php

Should make Tom's life easier, but it won't happen until the boat's fixed and floating again.

P.S. Bonus point for any Michigan sailor to name the harbor in the Safe Harbor banner.

Nope, no button on my screen home page or otherwise. I solved the problem by buying a new computer. Very Happy

Ah... so maybe Charlie should solve his leak with a Tartan 4300?

Well to update it is getting worse and I am pulling it tomorrow to get it rebuilt. Anyone have any recomendations in the SF bay area for a rebuilder?

I think I have exacerbated the problem by replacing the fuel lift pump with an electric one. I developed a leak on the trip down from BC and couldn't source a rebuild kit, though this looks correct? (the pump is an AC type U - very common on older British cars)

A chrome chevy blank plate from NAPA covered the lift pump hole.

Annoys me to have to do this as the motor runs very sweetly.

I had my pump rebuilt at Diamond Diesel in Oakland. I think it is on 12th street but I am not sure. I seem to recall it was about $600. What you get is essentially a new pump. I picked them because a couple diesel mechanics told me that is where they take all their stuff.

I have a brand new, never been used mechanical lift pump for the W50. I will sell it to you for half of what I paid for it. I think I still have the invoice in the box. I also have a Sherwood salt water pump and a freshwater pump for the W50 that are new in the box and have never been used. I had these as backups for an extended cruise and never needed them. Now have replaced the W50 with a Yanmar.

Well Diamond diesel did a great job on the rebuild in 24hrs. It looks like a new pump!!

Went right back and started up fine.

I did find that the fuel supply hose was weeping under the clamp. I temporarily replaced it with rubber hose until I can get a new one made up. This is the only clamp between two lines that is steel and not rubber lined.

You can use a rubber tube for fuel permanently as long as it is rated. I do not think anyone is using copper anymore.
