We are heading down the Tenn Tom waterway in October. I read that the mast height to water is 51.3 for the Tartan 37C. Have any of you scientifically measure your mast height ?

That sounds pretty close to being right. I always have thought 52' but I measured using a 100' tape on a halyard to the waterline on a slight angle. Of course, measuring on an angle measures long but it was close enough for me. If I go under a bridge that is that close, I think I would have a heart attack............ Shocked

We just measured the mast, from top of mast head to deck, then from deck to waterline (using a straight line level and dropping a line to the water)

Mast height is as published for the 37C model = 51' 3"
