Good Day All,

I know this topic comes up every so often and I did see some previous threads a year or two old with not much response. So I figured I'd' try again.

I am going to put Davits on the boat and I'm fairly certain I'm going with a RIB, but the question is how big can you go without too much dingy poking out the sides. I'm not sure if 8' 6" is too small and 9' 6" is just right or if I should consider 10' 2" whereas I think 10' 6" is definitely too big.

I appreciate the feedback. I hope to hear from you all soon as I may go ahead and purchase the RIB at the Miami show if possible. Thanks.

Jesse

I have a 10 ft RIB on my davits. It's Ok, but you do have to be careful when maneuvering around docks with pilings.

I have 10' that I put on the davits. It doesn't bother me.

I have a 9'6" AB rib and it sticks out the sides a bit so have to be carefull depending on the situation.
