Can anyone comment on close-quarters sailing with a 37? Since we bought ours we've been fighting through engine issues. I have no particular fear of sailing out of our med moor (we're in the trades this month), but sailing back in is a little daunting to me, given the seawall's coral growth. My outer mooring balls (insert laugh) are far enough after that I think I can pick either one up and use a short pennant to hold me until getting my shore lines back across. I'm just sick of sitting in port and would really like to get out for an afternoon. I'd sail onto an anchor or mooring with little compulsion, but wanted some feedback. Thanks!

First thing you're gonna want to do is gather up a bunch of old tires and hang them around the perimeter of your boat like the tugs use that way if you get too close to a seawall or another moored vessel than no worries!!!! Snicker
Actually the T-37 tacks very sharpley due to the large rudder, very responsive. Of course if you're single-handling it, then you may be a bit nervous pulling in sheets while steering thru a minefield.......what's going on with the engine? And which engine do you have?
