I am still waiting for them to digitize the logos and the cost for that.

In regards to the hat colors, here is what I propose. I will have them make up about 30 hats with gold stitching on a faded like green hat (soft) and also make up about 30 hats with the Tartan green stitching on a tan color hat (soft).

I will post photos of the mock up hats for "approval" before I have them make up an significant quantity.

Solare, my email is shawn_harlan @ comcast . net

I'm good for at least 2 of each color combo!

Shawn, I'll save you the trouble of shipping them as you can drive them out to me on Solare and get your a$$ out on the water with me Cheers

I've not checked in for a while and wish to add to the order of 2 or more "slouch" type caps in tan with blue thread. Great idea and commendable follow through! Any updates on the progress?

Finally, I got the mock up today, it looks really good. See the attachments for the samples.

Please note, the two photos show the embroidery which is done in gold on a similar hat they had in stock with a defect, it is not the actual hat I thought we would use (although I liked the two colored look). The actual hat is made by Adams called the "Cool-Crown" and the tag says "Congratulations on purchasing an Adams Fashion Head wear hat with the innovative Cool-Crown mesh lining. The Cool Crown mesh liner inside this hat is designed to promote cooling and minimize staining". These hats are the soft type, pre-washed/faded with a leather strap and metal clasp, very nice hats in my opinion, much better than the ones Tartan sells on their website!

Tom, I am wondering if we could coordinate a mass email? I think you have several owners email addresses, we may be able to get more interested people? If not, we'll just go through here. Solare (Glenn) had some great ideas on how to handle the payment and distribution of the hats. We will probably set up a Pay Pal account to process everything. The more hats I order at one time, the cheaper they'll be

Here is a picture of the Adams hat...

The first one is the Spruce Green hat color and the second is Khaki.

So we'll offer two looks:
- Spruce Green Hat with Gold stitching
- Khaki Hat with Green stitching

I wouldn't be opposed to also ordering a few of the third hat below (personally my favorite look and similar to the sample hat they gave me), Khaki with Spruce Green bill with the Green stitching?

Since the logos are now set up with the shop, Maryland Monogram, I plan to set it up so anyone could call in and have something embroidered on anything they want. They carry many lines of coats, shirts of all types, and more...

I'll be in for several. Perhaps Tom can feature it in the newsletter? The Forum here can also do a mass email with info to all members. It would be a first since the start of the forum, but I think it's a worthy cause. And we'll certainly put up an announcement thread here like we did for the T37 books.
