I'll bite
- Look for blisters on the hull, being a cored hull and all, I unfortunately found out after the purchase. I would ask the seller if you can sand down to the hull through the bottom paint(s) in several spots, or ask your surveyor to ask.
- Deck soft spots, not an uncommon thing with cored decks of that age. Usually is due to a poor install by an owner. I have one up by the anchor roller due to a crappy install on a chain retainer.
- If she's a CB, check all the components thoroughly, especially the pin.
- Hull to deck joint, although I know of no problems ever, it is wise to look closely
That?s all on my list. Congrats on deciding on a great boat, you won't be disappointed
