I'll be replacing a W50 with Beta 30 at the end of March. It is for sale as parts or a whole package. It is now in Puerto Rico, and parts can be shipped to the US relatively cheaply if they fit in USPS flat rate boxes.
It run out of oil a few month ago after an oil leak, and now it smokes above 2000 RPM. Other than that, everything works.
Recently replaced parts include: A new Balmar 100A alternator (200 hours; new in 2018) Relatively new raw water pump (300 hours; new in 2018) + spare impellers and a gasket Old raw water pump that drips every few seconds A Hurth HBW10 transmission (about 300 hours; bought in 2018)
I have a couple new belts, 4 replacement fuel filters and an oil filter.
The cooling system is in an OK condition. Heat exchanger and oil cooler were replaced by the previous owner at some point, but I don't know when. A year ago it run at 2700RPM with temps under 180F in New England. Now it runs at 180F at 2100 RPM in the tropics, and I know there is an impeller blade somewhere in the heat exchanger.
