Well, the admiral and I are fulfilling one of my mom's bucket list items. She has always wanted to see the northwest and we are taking a long trip from Southern Texas to Seattle, Washington to fulfill her dream. So far, she's still alive. (She's my mom and she STILL knows how to drive me nuts.) And I'm not Mmm Beer all the time. Beautiful country. Cold nights. Hot days. Went up the Beartooth Highway a couple of days ago. I've done some flyfishing and caught a few rainbows. mmmm, Fresh Rainbow Trout. Overnighting here on the east end of the lake with very little wi-fi service.

Must be a nice change of pace....to get away from the Texas summer heat. That part of the country is what I call "rugged".....been out here skiing a few times, great place to visit but I am always glad to get back to the Chesapeake. I think I would miss being that far from big water if I lived out there.

I did a triathlon in CdA a few years ago; that is such a great town. The lake is COLD, even in late June! Enjoy the trip and the company.
