Has anyone commissioned embroidery for a shirt? I am looking for the profile of the Tartan 37 or the Tartan logo.

Never commissioned anything, but the bosses wife at my last job had a rig. She brought some crew shirts for HighFlight many moons ago when we took them sailing. I'll see if she's still doing that. (assuming I can still find the number...)

Here's the Logo that your embroider will need. It's an Vector graphic file (Adobe Illustrator) so don't open it in a photo program and save, as it will revert to a vector and they wont be able to use it. download.php?id=153&f=4

As for a hull profile, there's this one on the Tartan37.com website:

not sure they can do anything with it without redrawing it, but it's a nice drawing....

I am unable to download the attachment for some reason but am also looking for the tartan pdf of the "tartan 37 shield" and "tartan yachts". I'm waiting for someone at Tartan to get back to me but would appreciate if someone can resend if available.

I'm trying to get shirts together for my crew when we sail to the Abacos for race week. Thanks.

Jesse

We had polos done up with the T37 logo, boat name and sail number several years ago. Did gold on dark green shirt, looked very sharp. It was a commercial operation and the price was very fair, had 8 made.

Like the hats I have a shop that can embroider almost anything with the T37 Logo and the Tartan Logo in which I have permission from Tartan to do. The logos need to be digitized to be embroidered and that cost some money... SO

If folks want, I would be happy to have shirts made up, towels, pillows, whatever you need or want in addition to a new round of hats

BUT... unlike last time I am only going to take Pre-Orders so I dont sit on the cost for five years LOL

So lets set up a poll or something with what...

Hats: Color of Hat and Color of Embroidery
Shirts: Style, Color and Embroidery color
Towels: Probabaly best you send them to me, then I get them embroidered for you.
Maybe Fender Covers?

Most of our T37s are White and Dark Blue I assume?

Thoughts?

Sounds neat.

Just an idea. But what if we sent you shirts and when you have enough to do a run, have them embroidered? That way I can get light colored shirts to wear in the blasted blazing hot Florida sun and the folks in the Chesapeake area can get darker colors for their wimpy summer sun? Cheers

Plus I could get some long sleeves in dark green to match the bimini for winter sailing. Very Happy

Blue with White or White with Blue...
Thanks.
